North Westside residents remain disenchanted – Vernon Morning Star

The Vernon Morning Star did an article North Westside residents remain disenchanted in the Sunday, December 17 2017 edition. We are still waiting for the Staff Report requested by the Board with RDCO Staff recommendations as to how to restore trust and confidence in the services, their costs and the delivery model currently in effect.

As the North Westside Services and Community Issues Review_Final Report highlighted there is a 60% dissatisfied & very dissatisfied ranking awarded the RDCO by the residents of the North Westside. This Staff Report on the Final Report is due in January 2018 and will hopefully outline a path to restore this lost trust and confidence in the RDCO and/or provide a path forward for the community that allows for input and consultation with the elected representative and community with a change in our governance structure.
