North Westside Communities Association 6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

NWCA 6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt / BBQ

Westshore Park was the place to be Saturday. The North Westside Communities Association had another successful community event with a large turnout. 128 bags of Easter candy, 250 burgers and hot dogs were given out for free at this popular annual event. Over 1400 eggs were scattered by the Easter Bunny for collection by the children in trade for a treat bag for their efforts.

The weather cooperated and we had a very successful event with hundreds enjoying free burgers and dogs, with 128 children participating.

This year saw the addition of the Bouncy Horse Races and a Tug of War between the children and the North Westside Firefighters. The Bouncy Horses were a big hit with all ages and will be making another appearance at this years Annual Canada Day Celebration in Westshore Park with live music. Join us for the inaugural use of our new Bandstand. Watch the Full Video of the BBQ, Races, Tug of War.

We also had tables representing Girl Guides, Brownies & Sparks (selling cookies for the cause), Katherine with a Coffee Table representing the Westside Post, the Boy Scouts (who are forming a Troop in the community) and the Membership Table for the NWCA.
