Westshore Water Quality Advisory Removed

After consulting with Interior Health, the Regional District of Central Okanagan has rescinded a Water Quality Advisory for customers of the Westshore Estates water system in the Central Okanagan West Electoral Area.

The precautionary advisory has been in place following replacement and upgrading the Northern View Pressure Reducing Value on Wednesday, June 23.  Since the work was completed, the impacted portion of the system has been flushed and required bacterial tests are negative in accordance with Canadian guidelines for drinking water quality.

The Regional District provides water service to just over 1,100 connections in six service areas.
