Woke up with no power this morning. The BC Hydro Outage Site said that it went out at 5:55 and that crews were on route. Makes it difficult to get going in the morning but nothing new for our community ... price of being rural I suppose.

Warm seasonal weather over the next week is expected to bring moderate afternoon winds ranging from 20-30 kms/hr daily. I went for a walk through Killiney Beach to see the changes I missed over the last few days. What a difference. The water is well over the road for a large stretch of the north end of the park. The section where the Tiger Dams were deployed then removed are under water.
