Killiney Beach Flooding – Update – Jun 9

Here is the latest video of conditions on Okanagan Lake in the Killiney Beach Park and waterfront area. Not looking good. The road is under a foot of water in places, the hydro pole is well under water and useless as a source of power as well the community dock is in serious jeopardy of being jetsam along the shoreline. The barrels and sandbags from the dock washed away over night. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words so a video should prove even more valuable.

This video shows conditions north of the gate in Killiney Beach including my access road, dock and beach. If you go back on the blog timeline or to my You Tube Channel the videos there provide a visual history of the 2017 flooding event in the North Westside area as I believe that all the waterfront properties are experiencing very similar conditions.
