More of Westside Road to be made safer is the headline in the Kelowna Daily Courier Story on the next section of Westside Road to be upgraded. That is the stretch between La Casa and Muir Road, a very narrow, winding, shoulderless stretch of road with a 100M drop to Okanagan Lake.
The RDCO Board discussed this upgrade in a motion 7.1 Fintry Provincial Park Westside Road Realignment – RDCO Covenant Use
Change to acquire some parkland on the down slope side to assist in the widening of the road and addition of shoulders and guard rails.
