Traders Cove / Estamont

Another beautiful day in Central Okanagan West. I decided to finish both these areas today as both were rain delayed from earlier in my door to door campaigning.

Traders Cove residents brought up two issues one new and one familiar. The more familiar one was in respect to the increased gravel truck traffic and speed they travel through their community. The second issue was the lack of a boat launch in the area now that the one in Bear Creek Provincial Park has been removed. Residents have to drive to Fintry Park or Fintry Delta boat launches to get their boats in and out of the lake.

My time in Estamont was an opportunity to remind residents to check with their home insurance company to ensure they are receiving the discount now the fire boat is certified. The fire department will be able to answer any questions your insurance carrier may have.
