Good Governance

I attended a training seminar in West Kelowna on Wednesday sponsored by the Regional District and hosted by West Kelowna. This meeting was attended by newly elected and returning  Mayors, order Municipal Councilors and Regional Directors. I met staff and elected officials from the West Kelowna area and as far south as Penticton. This was a good opportunity to meet and get to know the people running the neighboring municipalities and regional districts to the south end of the valley.

George Cuff the individual giving the seminar has a very long and broad experience and many good insights to the problems and governance issues we the newly elected will have to deal with over the next four years.

My inauguration is coming fast and will take place Monday December 08 2014 at 7:00 PM at the Regional District office in Kelowna. The new Regional Board will be sworn in at this meeting. This is a public meeting and I invite any that are interested to attend.
