Wilson’s Landing firefighters ready to offer first aid was the headline in the Kelowna Daily Courier announcing the implementation of Medical First Responder (FMR) for the residents, guests and visitors passing through the Station 42 fire prevention district. This now allows for a Medical Response throughout the entire Central Okanagan Regional District a high water mark that all fire departments within the RDCO can be proud of.

Regional District of Central Okanagan’s budget smaller than last year’s is another EA West related news story from the Kelowna Capital News. This story highlights the smaller size of this years RDCO Budget compared to the previous year. Although the overall Budget was smaller most residents in Central Okanagan West will be seeing an increase on their notices for a variety of reasons as localized services have seen an increase.
