North Westside study funded – Kelowna Daily Courier

The Kelowna Daily Courier gave the Governance Issue in the North Westside some coverage identifying the North Westside’s desire for information on the services they pay for. The article North Westside study funded announces the granting of the $20,000 by Minister Fassbender. It is the communities hope that they will be consulted in the preparation of the Terms of Reference for the Study and in the hiring of the “independent consultant”.

That would call for a different approach than the RDCO has applied to the North Westside up to this point. At the end of the day tens of thousands of tax dollars will be spent. There needs to be real and productive information as a result with a strong recommendation of the next step for the North Westside.
