Westside Road improvements continue this fall is the story in the Friday March 10 2017 edition of the Kelowna Daily Courier. Looks like the construction is about to arrived in the North Westside as part of the Provincial Governments 45 million dollar Westside Road upgrade. I for one will be real interested in how this section evolves. This has to be amongst the narrowest and windiest part of Westside Road; with no shoulder to speak of and a long long drop to the lake. Absolutely this will make this part of Westside Road to West Kelowna, the Bridge or Connector a considerably safer drive.

The Story states that construction will begin this fall which will hopefully will mean no delays during the summer when traffic through the North Westside is at its busiest.
