Westshore Estates water quality advisory ends

After consulting with Interior Health, the Regional District of Central Okanagan has rescinded a precautionary Water Quality Advisory for some customers of the Westshore Estates water system.

The advisory was required following an emergency leak repair June 20 impacting ten properties (even addresses between 500 and 578 Mountain Drive and 84 Hillcrest Way). No other customers of the water system were affected by the advisory.

This isolated area of the community water system has been flushed and test results are within acceptable Canadian guidelines for drinking water quality.

The Regional District provides water service to just over 1,100 connections in six service areas.
