OKIB School Feasibility Study – Update

I attended a preliminary meeting on Jan 09 2020 with members of the OKIB, NWCA and the architectural firm running the School Feasibility Study. This school is proposed for the same school site the OKIB currently operates a school from. The purpose of this meeting is to prepare for the Public Information Meeting the OKIB has called for on Jan 16 2020 at the Killiney Beach Hall.

The Public Meeting was not well attended but the North Westside Community have been fairly active in responding to the online survey. If you have filled out the survey great, if not please do, here is the link OKIB School Feasibility Study.

It is important that the North Westside participates in this study to determine if this is the solution to the long bus rides to schools in Vernon and West Kelowna. As Study results are made available I will publish them.
