Westshore Estates Water Quality Advisory Removed
After consulting with Interior Health, the Regional District of Central Okanagan has rescinded a Water Quality Advisory for customers of the Westshore Estates water system in the Central Okanagan West Electoral Area.
The advisory affecting designated properties on Westshore Road, Colombia Way, Valley Drive, Bluebird Drive and Hillside Drive has been in place as a precaution following a leak repair on Wednesday, November 25. Since the work was completed, the impacted portion of the system has been flushed and testing results indicate turbidity is within acceptable and safe Canadian guidelines for drinking water quality.
The Regional District provides water service to just over 1,000 connections in six service areas.
