Illegal Dumpsites

The forested areas surrounding our communities are NOT a place for crap you no longer want. Your crap is your crap please don’t dump it in the bush, the gates of the transfer site or at the bus stop/notice boards. Chances are that if it’s garbage to you everyone else will also see it that way… dispose of it properly.

The North Westside Transfer Site offers two bulk item disposal opportunities a year with a separate Hazardous Waste Disposal event. This site also handles many recyclable items, yard waste as well as your household garbage… his does not include your dead vehicles and construction waste.

The RDCO operates an Illegal Dumpsite Clean-up Service. To report sites you find while using the back country around our  communities the RDCO has an app https://rdco.maps.arcgis.com/apps/GeoForm/index.html?appid=0ebbb86611314522a6089290971682ae.

Should you run across vehicles, construction waste or other unsightly or dangerous dumps within our community please record and report so that we can locate and dispose of these blights upon our community.
