Trepanier Resident Upset by RDCO Lack of Communications

Stakeholders Snubbed  is the headline in the Peachland View newspaper based upon a letter from a concerned resident from the Trepanier community.  This is not the first time as a matter of fact it is a recurring thyme with RDCO and their communications within the electoral areas.  Over and over again as the elected representative for Central Okanagan West I have requested information on behalf of my residents because the RDCO does not provide adequate information on issues of obvious importance to the residents that live and own property in these areas.

The North Westside Community Issues Report details this problem very clearly and shows the discontent of the residents with this continued apathy to the issues the local residents find of importance to themselves and their neighbours.

Since the writing of this resident letter to the Peachland View I have added a resident from Trepanier to the Area Planning Committee for Central Okanagan West.  Although the APC is not involved in all decision making it should provide considerable local planning and land use information to the community that they currently are not getting.
